In college, a friend gave me a book of lectures by Rudolf Steiner. This book pointed a way to heal a recent, heart-aching disenchantment with modern science and the philosophy rooted in it. I was inspired by early reading in education to take up further study and to dedicate much of my life to Waldorf education. Retired now and with family grown, I welcome the time to further deepen my relationship to the path offered in the Philosophy of Freedom and to the fundamental teachings of anthroposophy for inner development as well as to expand the love of art and nature that these teachings offer.
